Half of each edition of the journal will be devoted to a focus topic and the other half to a variety of different contributions. Focus topics of the forthcoming editions will be:

• Journalism in War and Peace II (Vol. 11, No. 1, April 2012)
• Conflict Journalism II (Vol 11, No. 2, October 2012)

Deadlines for submitting manuscripts are June 30, 2011 (vol. 11/1) and December 31, 2011 (vol. 11/2). Papers which are not related to a focus topic can be submitted at any time.
